JRM Management is a large business consisting primarily of a McDonald's franchisee who owns and operates 13 McDonald's restaurants. As an intern with JRM Management, my title is marketing assistant. I am eager at the beginning of each day to see what my internship brings. I am truly enjoying every aspect of being a marketing assistant and am learning so much in the process. Throughout my internship I have gained insight into the business world and have learned valuable skills that will help me to find a career that will fit my needs in the near future. So far, I have worked with multiple vendors in terms of creative mediums, gorilla marketing and radio broadcast. This internship has allowed me to network with many people who are interested in working with me in the future. I have attended a couple of meetings and informational webcasts/conference calls where I have learned aspects of marketing that I didn't even know existed before this experience. In addition to learning, I have also helped to create a supplemental advertising plan for the Cape Cod McDonald's restaurants.
